NECCO: [Almost] Open for Business

With a transcontinental swat, Mark Ellis posts the first stat of the MLB season with a first-inning Tokyo Dome HR off of Matsuzaka. However, it doesn't count in NECCO. Because, of course, Mark Ellis is a free agent.

HOWEVER, contrary to any information you may have heard from me or even CBS Sports, stats are now counting including these first two games (A's v. Red Sox in Japan today and tomorrow).

So, like, make sure your lineups are set and such. Even though tomorrow's game isn't showing on the set lineup page, if you change a player to active for the first available game, they will be active for tomorrow. Send me an email if you'd like to retroactively start anyone from today. I can't promise I can override CBS, but I can try.

UPDATE:
Um, the Japan games do NOT, I repeat, do NOT count. Any stats you may (or, more likely, may not have seen at 5:15 AM [CDT]) accrue on the website have since been erased by CBS.

Today: doesn't count.
Tomorrow: doesn't count.
Sunday: It counts! Set your lineups.

Sorry for any confusion. Any complaints should be sent to lmoonves@cbs.com.

I've heard that the All-Star Game counts. As most of the players in the All-Star Game will be on my team, I feel that it would be in the best interest of fair competition to not have it count.

I know this is at the CBS level, but can't those games be 'rolled back' into next week or whatever? Essentially, any of those guys who got drafted and played in Japan have a 160 game season fantasy-wise.

Sincerely,
The First Guy to Bitch
